It is hard  to understand
the people that make art without meaning
that put paint on brushes and smear it without thought
or pen to paper and create random strokes
to me,
art is nothing without meaning
has no connection to the world without a connection to the creator of it
has no mental value without passion behind the piece
for what holds it together?
if random actions are all that it takes for someone to be considered an artist
then I don't want to be called one
I want that title to reflect craft and hard work and ingenuity
just like any great architect or designer
that is how I want to be known.
